NHTSA recalls some Dorel car seats
Certain Dorel Juvenile Group car seats have hazard in left armrest

On May 17, 2007, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall of certain Dorel Juvenile Group child safety seats. The recall could affect more than 18,500 car seats.
The NHTSA statement said there is a square hole located on the left armrest, in which a child’s finger can get stuck. Reports stated that children cannot always pull their own finger out of the hole.
Recalled car seats include:
- Cosco® Alpha Omega Car Seat 22150
- Cosco® Alpha Omega Car Seat 22151
- Eddie Bauer Leather 3-in-1 Car Seat 22770
Dorel Juvenile has issued a statement on its Web site concerning the products, offering consumers a free repair kit. The company will notify all registered owners of the seats.
