Gorilla recalls 60,000 tree-stand harnesses

On December 18, 2007, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of some 60,000 Full Body Safety Harnesses made by [Gorilla Inc.](http://www.productsthathurt.com/companies/gorilla-inc.php), of Flushing, Michigan. The recalled Gorilla harnesses could fail during use, which could result in the occupant falling from the tree stand and suffering serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The recall of Gorilla full body safety harnesses involves model SP403000. Recalled harnesses have a code number of 020507, 030507, or 040507. They were sold at sporting goods retailers nationwide between April 2007 and October 2007 for between $80 and $300.

Consumers should contact Gorilla for a free replacement harness. The company may be contacted toll free at 1-877-685-7817.
