Children’s “Groovy Grabber” Bracelets
On April 3, 2007, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of toy bracelets manufactured by A & A Global Industries, Inc., due to a lead ingestion hazard.
Recalled “Groovy Grabber” bracelets were made of flexible metal bands wrapped in decorative plastic covers. Bracelets came in various colors and designs, including:
- Smiley faces
- Chinese symbols
- Dogs
- Cats
- Aliens
- Checker boards
- Flames
These bracelets were sold via vending machines located in malls, discount, department and grocery stores nationwide. Consumers should immediately take these bracelets away from children and discard them.
