Bumbo “Baby Sitter” Seats
The Bumbo™ Baby Seat is manufactured by Bumbo International and was introduced in 2002.
Bumbo Baby Seats are for babies from as young as six weeks to an age of approximately 12 to 14 months or about 22 pounds. It is used to assist in correction of spinal development in infants.
On October 25, 2007, Bumbo International recalled about 1 million Bumbo “Baby Sitter” Seats after receiving 28 reports of young children falling out of the seats, including three reports of children suffering skull fractures as a result.
