2008 Dodge Avenger
2008 Dodge Avenger
The 2008 Dodge Avenger is similar to the Chrysler Sebring, which was redesigned in 2007. The Avenger originally grew out of the mold of the Mitsubishi Eclipse, but in its “second generation,” the car followed in the footsteps of the Sebring.
In June 2007, Chrysler had to issue a recall because of an error with the sensors used in the frontal air bag system.
On September 25, 2007, DaimlerChrysler Corporation announced a recall of more than 72,000 2007 and 2008 Chrysler Sebrings and Dodge Avengers. The front door latch on recalled cars may become unseated from the interior release handle, causing the latch to stick in the unlatched position or causing the lock function to fail.
