Dollar General Merchandising Metal Key Chains

Dollar General Stores recalled metal key chain toys on April 3, 2007 due to lead ingestion hazard. Key chains sold included the following designs:

• Flip-Flop Charms on a key chain, in purple, yellow and aqua blue with a flower at the top
• Dangling charms key chains featuring cross, flower, shamrock, and heart charms on ashort silver chain
• Letter-style key chains that featured a silver metal letter of the English alphabet.

The words “KeyChain” and “Dollar General $1.25” were printed on the front of the key chain packages. Consumers should immediately take these key chains away from children and return them to the Dollar General store where purchased to receive a refund.
