Ducati 1098
Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati began selling the 1098 in early 2007. The 1098, with a horsepower of 160, is part of a group of ”superbikes,” which one study by the U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety said may be responsible for an increase in motorcycle-related fatalities.
In October 2007, Ducati North America recalled 2007 Ducati 1098 motorcycles due to a potential electronic control unit (ECU) defect.
