Tykerb is a cancer medication manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. Tykerb is often used in combination with Xeloda to treat a specific type of breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Tykerb is used when all other treatment has failed.
On November 21, 2007, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sent drug manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) a warning letter in response to the company’s distribution of misleading promotional materials for its breast cancer drug, Tykerb.
