Haloperidol
Haldol
Haloperidol is a drug used to treat schizophrenia. It can be administered intravenously, or in pill form. It is produced in America by Johnson and Johnson. The medication has been linked to Torsades de Poinets (TdP), a form of heart arrhythmia that can lead to sudden death. Studies released by Johnson and Johnson found 73 cases of TdP that could be linked to the drug, 11 of which were fatal.
