Marvel Toys recalled about 175,000 units of Chinese-made Curious George plush dolls on November 8, 2007, because the face and hat on the dolls contain paint with excessive amounts of lead.

Recalled Curious George dolls are 12 inches tall, with a plush body and a hard plastic face. Five different dolls are included in the recall:

  • Sweet Dreams: Product #90247
  • Tool Time: Product #90251
  • Tool Time (soft face): Product #90251
