On September 4, 2007, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of about 400 “Moderne” and “Loft” cribs by NettoCollection because the cribs’ slats can separate from the side rails, creating entrapment and strangulation hazards.

NettoCollection Loft Cribs are made of wood and sold with a brown finish. Model numbers NC-137 and NC-140 along with date codes 9/03 and 02/04 are the only model numbers and date codes involved in this recall. The recalled NettoCollection cribs were sold between October 2003 and June 2005 for about $1,350 each.
