Starlix
Nateglniide
Starlix is medication used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults by lowering blood sugar. Sometimes it is used in conjunction with Glucophage.
A patient’s doctor should be contacted immediately if any of the following side effects are observed:
- Convulsions (seizures)
- Unconsciousness
- Low blood sugar
- Hives or welts
- Itching
- Redness of skin
- Skin rash
Some common side effects do not usually need medical attention that may occur in patients taking Starlix:
- Cough
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Sore throat
- Abdominal or stomach pain
- Back pain
- Chills
- Dizziness
- Pain in joints or muscles
- Sneezing
- Swelling in joints
