Triaminic Daytime Cough and Cold

Triaminic Daytime Cough and Cold medicine contains antitussive and decongestants as one of its active ingredients. On December 6, 2007, the New England Journal of Medicine published an article that found that children under six taking antitussive in over the counter cough and cold medications were linked to having depressed levels of consciousness and encephalopathy. Medications with decongestants are linked to cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular events.
