Grifulvin V®
griseofulvin oral suspension
Grifulvin V® is an oral medication used to treat ringworm and other fungal infections of the hair, skin, fingernails and toenails.
On April 10, 2007, the United States Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) alerted the public that glass bottles of Grifulvin V® (griseofulvin oral suspension) were being recalled from wholesalers and pharmacies after two reports of glass fragments found in bottles of the medication. Any consumers in possession of a glass bottle of Grifulvin V® should contact the pharmacy where they purchased the medication.
