Champix (in Australia)

Chantix (sold as Champix in Australia) is non-nicotine prescription medicine specifically developed to help adults quit smoking by Pfizer.

On November 20, 2007, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released new information for patients taking Chantix, a prescription medicine marketed as an adult smoking cessation aid. The agency has received reports of suicidal thoughts and aggressive and erratic behavior in Chantix patients. The death of one patient was also reported.
