2007 Pontiac G6 Convertible
Early reaction to the car by reviewers was that the car fell short of Pontiac’s promise of “performance.” One reviewer for AutoSite.com said the car lacked the powertrain and the handling capacity to be a true performance car. He added the G6’s competitors were not trying to paint themselves as top performance cars.
The G6 comes with either a 3.5-liter, V6, 217 horsepower engine, or a 3.9-liter, V6 SFI with 227 horsepower engine. All transmissions are four-speed automatic, electronically controlled with overdrive. The four-seater’s gas tank holds 16 gallons.
