On December 11, 2007, ROMI Enterprises recalled about 6,000 Oceanic and AERIS SCUBA Regulator First Stages after receiving several reports of the units malfunctioning. An internal component that seals air between first-stage and second-stage can fail, resulting in an uncontrolled flow of air to a diver. This can cause serious injury or death.
