“Elite Operations” Brand Toy Sets

On March 13, 2007, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 128,000 Elite Operations Brand Military-Style Toy Sets manufactured by Toy Century Industrial Company Ltd., of Hong Kong. The toy sets were produced with paint containing high levels of lead and have sharp pointed ends. So far no injuries have been reported.

Recalled toy sets come with action figures and accessories and include the following item numbers:

• Super Rigs Transport Vehicle (Item # 087286)
• Command Patrol Center (Item # 920625)
• Troop Carrier (Item # 773967)

The item number is found on the back of the package above the barcode. The recalled Elite Operations Brand toy sets do not include toy sets sold prior to January 2006.

Recalled toy sets were sold at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and toysrus.com from January 2006 through February 2007, priced from $15 to $30.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled Elite Operations Brand toy sets away from children and return them to the nearest Toys “R” Us store for full credit. Consumers may contact Toys “R” Us at (800) TOYSRUS (869-7787) between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sundays.
