A hydrocodone overdose occurs when someone takes too much medicine containing hydrocodone.

If a patient who is suffering from a hydrocodone overdose receives medical attention before serious problems with breathing occur, the patient will suffer few long-term consequences and will probably be back to normal in about one day.
