Robitussin Long-Acting Cough

Robitussin Long-Acting Cough and Cold medicine contains antitussive and antihistamine as one of its ingredients. On December 6, 2007, the New England Journal of Medicine published an article that found that children under six taking antitussive in over the counter cough and cold medications were linked to having depressed levels of consciousness and encephalopathy. Medications that included antihistamine were linked to hallucinations.
