Mary Daniel sued Wyeth Laboratories claiming that Wyeth’s hormone replacement drug Prempro caused her to develop breast cancer. Daniel also claimed that Wyeth failed to properly warn of the cancer risk associated with taking the drug. The judge awarded Daniel $1.5 million in compensatory damages.
